Roasted for espresso, as such this coffee would taste best brewed for espresso, filter or cafetiere.
Tasting notes of candied fruit and orange with lots of florals.

Villa Betulia is the name of Luis Anibal Calderon's farm - which serves as a beacon for specialty coffee in Acevedo, Huila. In 2011, Luis was facing financial ruin as his coffee farm was on the brink of foreclosure. His earnings barely covered production costs so Luis turned to the local Specialty Coffee Association. They were willing to pay him 15% more if he could produce coffee of specialty grade, not a life-changing amount, but enough to keep him afloat and encourage him to delve deeper into the specialty coffee market.
In 2015, Luis decided to convert his entire farm to exotic coffee varieties. Pink Bourbon is one such variety - originally thought to be a cross between red and yellow bourbon, it has recently been genetically tested and confirmed to be an Ethiopian landrace variety. A landrace is a name given to any variety of coffee that grows wild throughout Ethiopia. Pink Bourbon is a coffee variety well known for its bright citrus acidity with soft, floral undertones and often a honey sweetness.
