Launched in Uganda in 2017, The Coffee Gardens, is dedicated to crafting exceptional specialty coffee while ensuring ethical practices and a clear connection between coffee farmers and coffee drinkers.
The Coffee Gardens Project tackles multiple goals beyond just coffee. They aim to boost farmers' income and well-being, create and offer rural jobs, promote gender equality, and ensure transparency and traceability throughout the supply chain. Additionally, they are committed to environmental protection in the area and equipping farmers with Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) training.Furthermore, The Coffee Gardens motivates and rewards farmers through various monetary and non-monetary means. This includes bonuses after harvest, opportunities to earn extra income and find new jobs, tree distribution, and year-round training programs.
The coffee in this micro-lot is produced by the farmers on the mountain above The Coffee Gardens’ washing station. The farmers bring the coffee down to the washing station, where it undergoes a signature 40 hour fermentation, resulting in the unique flavour profile of this coffee.

Reviews
This is the best coffee I have ever tasted and the customer service is fabulous. I have discussed my requirements and Harry has also gone above and beyond giving me advice about coffee grinders and ways to froth my milk. Nothing is too much trouble. I accidentally ordered two bags of the same when I wanted two different ones and they very quickly sorted the issue with no hassle. Thank you for a pleasant ordering process and fabulous coffee ☕️
